It’s such a shame because this video starts out so well: a ridiculous study, a spot-on critique of the University ( “And Leo’s…you said you were going to make a change! But we didn’t mean the doors! We meant the food!”) and a flawless, probably unintentional Jerry Seinfeld imitation (”I feel like I’m talking to a wall!”).

But then it goes downhill fast. The unnatural smile on Patrick’s face when Dietz and Stone touch his shoulders is just unsettling, as is the way he whispers “thanks” and gives Stone’s stomach a man-pat before walking away. And despite the massive explosions behind them, I’m not sure what Dietz and Stone are setting off to do, except perhaps find another kooky Hoya in need of a shoulder rub.

Speaking of campaign videos, it looks like the G.O.P. might finally have its answer to will.i.am’s wildly popular Obama video. And to think pundits claimed Republicans didn’t know how to use the power of the internet.
