Adelfi was one of a few clubs which at the end of last school year forfeited its SAC funding, citing an uncertain future membership size. Nevertheless, the all-girls social and service organization has continued to operate throughout this school year.

What’s more, this year, they’ve begun to explore the idea of becoming incorporated with a national sorority. Of course, incorporation would involve a name change and lots of news rules. It’ll also change the way they operate around campus. Adelfi treasurer Renee Medina (MSB `11) said there was more enthusiasm behind this idea last semester than this semester, but it’ll be interesting to keep an eye on.

  1. Isn’t Renee like your best friend or your roommate or both? Let’s keep it honest!

  2. Ack! There was a full disclosure in a later draft: Renee is my former roomie and friend.
