FACT: It is actually impossible to be angry at Joe Biden while looking at this picture.
The Georgetown Law Center is holding a symposium today celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Violence Against Women Act. At the ceremony, Vice President Joe Biden will be given the “Legal Momentum Hero Award” for his work on the bill. Sounds like a pretty sweet, harmless event right?
Well, the Cardinal Newman Society is saying that giving the award to Biden—who is a pro-choice Catholic—violates a 2004 U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops policy that prohibits honoring individuals who “act in defiance of [the Church's] fundamental moral principles.”

Scandal after scandal at Georgetown, including the stunning 2007 law school policy that offers paid internships for students to work at organizations that advocate for abortion rights, has severely compromised its integrity as a Catholic institution.”
According to the Christian Newswire, pro-life activists will be protesting the event. And just as IHS-gate was dying down…
