In this week’s issue of the Voice, Molly Redden highlighted the campaign to increase and improve student space on campus.

As you may remember, last spring the Student Space working group sent out a survey to the student body to solicit opinions about campus space (and 1,137 students responded to the survey).

So what did the student body have to say about campus space?  Take a look for yourself!

  1. What’s most stark there for me is that 33% of respondents feel Lauinger is the center of student life, but only 3% want it to be.

  2. And conversely, its 5% think Healy/Dahlgren is and 44% want it to be. That should be the change, right there. BRING BACK THE PUB!

  3. Why wasn’t Leo’s an option? I think it gives Lau a run for its money, but when most students hear “Southwest Quad” they don’t think of Leo’s, they think of the dorms.
