Remix Your Weekend: FLVR BNK, Ke$ha, + Others
Another week, and some more music. A face-melting mix from FLVR BNK as well as another Ke$ha remix (I know, I know, I post so much of her music—but what can I say, I’m in love). But don’t worry, I’ve still got some great new Hood Internet and an unknown DJ mash to compensate. So without further ado, let’s get into this.
FLVR BNK, a collab project between DJ Renaisance, DJ Madmonk, and DJ Real Juice (great names, right?), gave us a hard-hitting mash/mix of Eurythmics and LMFAO, the results of which rock my socks right off. I also just love the groups tag-line intro, “Flavor Bank made it bettah.” Classic.
Next we have another K-money-sha remix. NY’s The Redlight puts Ke$Tha and 3OH!3 through the remix machine and spits out a mix that will no doubt knock you on your feet: intense bass-lines, techno synths, and Ke$ha are a hard combo to meet, honestly. I know that her reign of terror is almost over, so I’m using this chance to put up what will probably be the last Ke$ha-related post.
Finally, I’ve got a couple gifts in the form of two new Hood ‘Net songs, and an Usher/Taylor Swift mash I’ve had for a while that I’m finally posting. The two Hood mashes are IYAZ/The Big Pink and Kanye ft. Lil Wayne/Dj Signify. The former track takes a second before you’ll realize its greatness, but give it a chance—I promise you won’t be disappointed. The final track is an Usher/Taylor Swift mash entitled Club Love. I haven’t been able to find the source of this mash, but it’s been around for a while.
So, I hope you all enjoy those tracks!
