Old Glory: Georgetown – m4m – 23 (M Street)

I was in Georgetown last night taking two girlfriends of mine out on the town so they could dress up to the nines and help take their mind off of recent heartache. One of the places we stopped for a little while around 11 PM was Old Glory along M Street. We were sitting in a booth across from the bar, and I couldn’t help but steal glances at you from time to time. You were wearing a white button-down shirt and were leaning against a table by yourself near the far end of the bar texting someone. I went over to the bar to try to get some water to help me sober up more quickly (I had one too many sangrias as Paparazzi) so I could approach you without looking like a total slob, but my sideways glances towards you weren’t reciprocated because you were busy distracted with your phone. I am presuming by your mannerisms and body language as I later casually saw you talking to a few of your male friends much taller than you that there’s a very good chance you weren’t straight, and I’m still regretting not introducing myself. You looked to be in your early-20s, white, maybe 5’7″-5’9″, average to slim build, and were very cute (at least by my standards). My one female acquaintance even commented without knowing I was already checking you out that you and I would look cute on a date together.

I know this is a VERY long shot, and there were a lot of preppy-looking early-20-something dudes at this bar last night (it WAS Georgetown after all), but if by any chance you aren’t straight, are single, and would like to chat with and get to know a vivacious Virginian with a love of fun in his heart, then please hit me back. Maybe you can tell me what color shirt I was wearing? Maybe you can tell me a bit about how my “dates” that evening looked (i.e. what color dresses?) All I know is that I really wanted to introduce myself, take you out to a movie, grab a few drinks by the waterfront, and maybe come back to my place to chill while watching recorded World Cup games or something while having some wine and making out.
