Remix Your Weekend: Don’t Call It a Comeback

Remix Your Weekend, a Vox staple in the past, is back, and we’re not messing around this time. Instead of YouTube links, we have a new fancy playlist format, so the party never reaches those awkward silences. The music will be party songs you know mixed into some new tracks for a playlist that everyone can love. Requests are welcome in the comments!

Leading off is Big Sean, with an anthem in “Too Fake,” a great way to start off any playlist. Wiz Khalifa is an obvious choice, with his recent success (and those Steelers heading to the Super Bowl). The Cataracs are still hot with “Top of the World,” even with “Like a G6″ still playing ad nauseam.

Can’t say enough good things about Chiddy Bang, they kill it on “Under the Sheets” featuring Ellie Goulding (get the whole mixtape here).

Ms. Goulding returns in Lights! for the first of two “No Hands” remixes (they are both too good to leave out). The second gives it the mash up treatment with Euro favorite “Stereo Love.”

Finally the infectious “Barbra Streisand” will have everyone in a good mood.

Hat tip to creativeKation for the Afrojack remix.
