The nice weather during part of this past week must have made a number of people decide to take a bike ride … on someone else’s bicycle.

Thursday, February 3

10:05 AM – THEFT (1200 b/o 33rd St, NW). MPD reported an auto theft at this location.

9:15 PM – ROBBERY (3200 b/o O St, NW). MPD reported a robbery at this location.

Friday, February 4

5:48 PM – THEFT (Lauinger). An unknown suspect stole an iPod left unattended on a copier. No suspects or witnesses have been identified.

Saturday, February 5

9:43 AM – THEFT (1800 b/o 37th St, NW). MPD reported an auto theft at this location.

9:00 PM – BURGLARY (1600 b/o 37th St, NW). MPD reported a burglary at this location.

Sunday, February 6

1:00 AM – THEFT (3500 b/o Prospect St, NW). MPD reported a theft at a tavern/night club at this location.

1:15 AM – DEFACEMENT (3800 b/o Reservoir Rd, NW). MPD arrested a suspect for felony destruction of property.

9:00 AM – THEFT (New South). An unknown person stole a bicycle that was secured to a bike rack. No suspects or witnesses have been identified.

5:33 PM – THEFT (Leo’s). An unknown person stole a bicycle that was secured to a bike rack. No suspects or witnesses have been identified.

7:28 PM – THEFT (Reynolds). An unknown person stole a bicycle that was secured to the bike rack. No suspects or witnesses have been identified.

11:23 PM – DUI (3700 b/o Canal Rd, NW). MPD arrested a suspect for driving under the influence.

11:47 PM – DUI (3700 b/o Canal Rd, NW). MPD arrested a suspect for driving under the influence.

Monday, February 7

12:40 PM – THEFT (Hariri). An unknown person stole a bicycle that was secured to a bike rack. No suspects or witnesses have been identified.

  1. Way to skip all the really good ones. A girl banned from campus for stalking a GU student? A girl getting arrested by MPD for slapping her ex-boyfriend in the face? You can’t make this shit up!

    As you can see from the dates on the post and the log, those crimes will be covered in the next campus crime watch. (Also, those were added to the online log today after this post had already been written, so it would have been impossible for us to have known about them.)
