Georgetown administrator bracketology

Need some last minute advice to finish filling out your NCAA tournament bracket?

Vox gathered the brackets of a few Georgetown administrators for this year’s tournament to help you finish yours (or realize teams that probably shouldn’t be picked). Almost all of the administrators who responded seem to believe that the Big East will have a great showing in the tournament. Except for Dean of the College Chester Gillis, the administrators have much more faith in the Hoyas than President Barack Obama does in his men’s and women’s brackets.

Which administrator do you think has the best bracket?

Provost Jim O’Donnell

O’Donnell, in his bracket that he named the “Beacon of Basketball Excellence,” predicts that Georgetown will take down overall number one seed Ohio State in the championship game.

Director of Student Programs Erika Cohen Derr

Cohen Derr predicts a number of upsets in the Southeast Region and Georgetown winning the tournament.

Dean of Admissions Charles Deacon

Deacon predicts that Georgetown will make it to the Elite Eight, but that Pittsburgh will win the tournament.

Dean of the College Chester Gillis

Gillis thinks that five of the teams in the Elite Eight will be Big East teams (but not Georgetown) and Pittsburgh will defeat Ohio State in the championship game.

Associate Vice President for Student Affairs Jeanne Lord

Lord has no Big East teams making the Final Four and Kansas winning the tournament championship in her bracket.
