Founders Day

With Founders Day comes the promise of pomp, circumstance, and free GUGS burgers.

This Friday the Tocqueville Forum is hosting their annual celebration of Father Andrew White, S.J. and the ships the Ark and Dove arriving in Maryland on March 25, 1634, planting the seeds from which Georgetown University grew. Along with a lecture about Georgetown’s role in the history of Maryland will be a reading of the University’s charter. The Georgetown Chimes will perform and GUGS will cater the event.

Be sure to RSVP so that there will be enough burgers, and head over to Copley Formal Lounge from 4 to 5:30 p.m. for the festivities.
