J.Cole will be on tour this summer with Rihanna, but you can him at U Hall this Sunday. This is a good opportunity to see J.Cole at a smaller venue. Friday Nights Lights, his most recent mixtape released in November, received acclaim from fans. He hasn’t released an album, though. Greg Monroe tweeted on March 7th that “J. Cole need to drop somethin.”

Blood Pressures, the new album released by The Kills this week, most likely sounds like their previous albums. Cold Cave also released an album this week. Entrance Band are a garage blues band. They did not release a new album this week.

This show is TONITE! Black Lips are a rock band. They play some fast songs, and they play some slow songs. Moon Women are a band comprised of women from the moon.
The Slackers w/The Thrilltones

The Slackers are a ska band who’ve been playing together for twenty years. Their list of past members is twice as long as their active roster. They’re one of the most prolific third wave ska bands from the 90s. The Thrilltones are a DC based ska band.
