Maybe DPS caught finals fever, or maybe there’s just been a lot going down. In any case, they didn’t find time to update the crime report past April 29. Strangely enough, other than a “tired” medical student that got a little grumpy in the beer garden and a roommate incident involving a hair straightener, Georgetown Day looks suspiciously calm on the report.
Wednesday, 27 April 2011
3:00 p.m. – THEFT (Unspecified). A student was in possession of a fraudulent driver’s license that belonged to a resident in Montana. The student was identified. The case has been referred to student conduct.
Thursday, 28 April 2011
10:57 a.m. – THEFT (St. Mary’s). A staff member reported that a desktop computer was stolen. A suspect was located. He was officially barred from campus.
4:25 p.m. – THEFT (Walsh). A student left her unattended laptop underneath a chair inside a classroom. After she finished class, she went to her next class. She then realized that she had left her laptop behind. Upon returning to retrieve the same, the item was missing. There are no suspects or witnesses.
8:09 p.m. – THEFT (Lauinger). A student reported that her unattended wallet was stolen from her book bag. The student received a phone call and stepped into the hallway. When she returned, she found her wallet missing. There are no suspects or witnesses.
Friday, 29 April 2011
1:00 a.m. – DEFACEMENT (VCW). A student had her hair straightener deliberately broken by another intoxicated student. This case will be handled administratively.
3:30 p.m. – ASSAULT (Healy). A Georgetown medical student physically assaulted a U.S. Marine who was monitoring events at the beer garden. The student was identified. The case was forwarded to MPD for further investigation.
4:00 p.m. – THEFT (Building D). A faculty member reported that he had petty cash stolen from his desk drawer. There are no suspects or witnesses.

I believe the Voice won on # of 1st places and overall…seem to remember that the Hoya did win Features though. But yes, I imagine there should be a post soon…
