Free Food for All: An eclat pretzel and a Jesuit walk into a bar
The cold weather might have decided to take a short vacation this week, but at least, like winter, free food is coming.
Start the weekend off right by indulging yourself in decadent chocolate, completely for free! Cocova, near Dupont Circle, will be hosting their sample day this Saturday featuring such delights as “Eclat Pretzel Bar” and “Valrhona Jivar Pecan”, among other exotic deliciousness. Head over to 1904 18th Street from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. for your chance to eat your heart out in cocoa.
Close out the weekend with the opening reception for Jesuit Heritage Week, and close that gnawing hunger with the prospect of free food. Jesuit Heritage Week seeks to make Georgetown’s Catholic and Jesuit identity tangible for the community, and is kicking the week off well with seasonal refreshments for all. Stop by the second floor of Healy from 9 to 10 p.m., naturally after mass, for the chance to hang out with the Jesuits and chow down on some delicious treats.
