Free Food for All: Dancing and noshing the night away
The weather might have decided to grace us with a little springtime warmth, and to make it even better, there’s free food. Thursday is the day for free food, with not one but two events to satisfy any cravings you might have.
If bioethics and free dinners are your style, then you’ll want to stop by the Bioethics Society’s screening of Dirty Pretty Things. Starting at 7 p.m. in the Bioethics Research Library in Healy 102, the movie night stars the delights of free Qdoba and Georgetown Cupcakes as enticements.
For those who want a more cultural approach to their Thursday night, then perhaps a little Greek dancing is in order. Join Dynami, Georgetown’s very own Greek Island dance troupe, at the Greek Embassy from 7:30 p.m. to watch a performance and learn a few steps at the ensuing group lessons. Be sure to RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org for the chance to chow down and get down, Greek style.
No plans for Saturday night? Then look no further than the Rave at Riverside with DJ Rickie Koo. Hosted by Collaborasian and What’s After Dark, music, glow sticks, and awesome food are promised at the completely free dance party. Head over to Riverside Lounge from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. to dance a little and nom a lot.
