"I think that relationship will improve soon enough due to the education that all off-campus residents are currently getting and will continue to get in the future, which includes the responsibilities of living off-campus and how to act appropriately."

This is (1) incredibly naive and (2) incredibly insulting. You've completely ceded the argument to the hostile members of the ANC, CAG, and BCA when you say that students are not individuals and equal citizens but rather a UNIFORM CLASS OF PERSONS worthy of discriminatory treatment and the full battery of in loco parentis policies. These groups will not be satisfied until ALL students are confined to campus.

"I think Jake Sticka has done a wonderful job during his time as ANC commissioner."

Jake Sticka did not do a damned thing, as far as I can tell. He almost never spoke up in meetings and did not sponsor or champion any initiatives as his predecessors did (see "Student Bill of Rights"). Like Aaron Gold before him, he just laid down and agreed to be the ANC gopher/stenographer.
