Last week, we asked our readers to blingee the crap out of a picture that surfaced on the Internet of teen idol Justin Bieber walking with his main squeeze Selena Gomez and wearing a Hoyas hat. First off, big thanks to everybody who submitted their artwork, and for those of you who didn’t, we assume it’s because you were too intimidated by the other blingee masterpieces that we’ve posted on Vox in the past.

Anyway, without further ado, here are the winners! That’s right, winners, because we received two that were just so blingee-tastic and Bieber-sational that we couldn’t pick just one. The first comes from reader Sara Eshleman (COL ’13), who apparently wanted our team’s name to be in the forefront of her artwork:

We think Snoop Dogg is a particularly nice touch.

Earlier today, the Internet gave a gift to the Georgetown community. Teenage sensation Justin Bieber was photographer trouncing around Brazil with girlfriend Selena Gomez, and guess what team’s hat he used to cover his famed blonde locks? Can it be that the Hoyas have received the endorsement of The Biebs?

And just like that, Georgetown’s application rate for girls ages 10-15 skyrocketed.

Of course, the first thing we thought when we saw this picture (big thanks to Georgetown Athletics, by the way), was to open it up to the public for a Photoshop and/or Blingee contest. By no means are you confined to this particular picture, as there are plenty of others to choose from of Bieber showing his Hoya love. Be as creative, ridiculous, and Blingee’d out as you see fit—and if you can make one that somehow doubles for an advertisement/banner for something Georgetown related, all the better. Let the Great Window Wars of 2010 begin.

For weeks, one Village A apartment has sported a life-sized cardboard cutout of Taylor Lautner wearing a Georgetown shirt on its window—presumably as a modest measure to cover those washboard abs. Not to be outdone by Team Jacob, however, Edward Cullen fans recently retaliated with a life-sized Robert Pattinson cutout sporting a Hoya Saxa shirt and a caption reading, “Jacob sucks!”
