Socially Conscious Munchies

If you haven’t heard of the floods in Pakistan and the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the region some have deemed the worst disaster of our lifetime … you’ve obviously been sleeping through Professor Elmendorf’s Foundations of Biology class.

On Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the South Asian Society and UNICEF-Georgetown will be hosting a dinner in McCarthy Hall’s fourth floor common room to spotlight the issues surrounding the floods. (The food is free, but donations are encouraged.)

Chow down on South Asian cuisine, aid a humanitarian cause that needs support, and enjoy your just desserts.
