East Campus to remain powerless until at least morning, Pepco on site
In an email to residents, University Housing wrote that Pepco is on site and working to fix the problem. They have determined that the outage is due to a fault in the main breaker. They expect to have the problem resolved in the early morning.
Lauinger Library and Sellinger Lounge will remain open throughout the night, and Housing is encouraging students to use showers in Yates Field House or another residence hall if needed.
The University’s operating status is scheduled to be announced between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m.
