Free Food for All: (7) Days of Treats
It’s Dia de los Muertos, everybody! To celebrate, M.E.Ch.A. de Georgetown will be hosting several opportunities to indulge in free food. Be sure stop by the altar in Red Square or the table outside Leo’s replete with delicious free snacks, or, if you want to engage in a discussion on what Dia de los Muertos means, head over to Reiss 112 from 8 to 9 p.m. with treats to follow.
Winter is coming, but perhaps a screening of (500) Days of Summer and the accompanying free pizza will warm you up. Hosted by the Graduate Association of Students of Philosophy (GASP), the film screening will be held in White Gravenor 311 at 6 p.m. on Thursday, so be sure to head over as much for the pizza as for the movie.
To round out the plethora of free food offered this week, Kara-o-Cocoa is the place to be if your love of scrumptious chocolate matches your passion for off-tune warbling. Join What’s After Dark in the Village C Alumni Lounge from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. this Friday for karaoke, hot chocolate, and a chocolate bar!
