Vox Gets Into Treble: The worst day of the year
Hey, Oscar the Grouch, guess what today is? Here’s a clue: it’s National Grouch Day. Apparently, though, the only way to celebrate this (terrible) holiday is to not celebrate at all. It’s an awful day, a really huge waste of everyone’s time. Vox isn’t even sure why we’re celebrating it. Take this opportunity to be as rude and abrasive as you can, not to mention tormenting your friends like this rascal here:
But even Oscar the Grouch can’t compete with these songs Vox has gathered to help you embrace the devil on your left shoulder. Vox has included everything from Glee covers (ugh) to the post child of absurdity (according to BBC’s Top Gear), Bono, to Nickelback to the King of all Grouches: Kanye “I Am A God” West himself.
Here they are: songs that only scoundrels and grouches like, and the music those scoundrels and grouches have produced.
